Witness the abundant wildlife and amazing views of the La Jolla sea caves with your guide. After a brief paddle instruction and safety talk, we bring your kayak down to the beach. We launch our kayaks from La Jolla Shores and paddle to the La Jolla Sea Caves taking in the gorgeous views and watching for the abundant wildlife. We always see numerous types of sea birds and usually sea lions, seals and sometimes dolphins. We then kayak into the fascinating kelp beds of the La Jolla Ecological Reserve and enjoy the surf zone on our way back. Kayaking is fun for all ages! No experience necessary.

Included in Tour: Tour Guide, kayaks, paddle and life jacket. Wet suit rentals are offered during fall, winter and spring.

Start with the stunning 360° views from Mt. Soledad. After we soak in the sights, we zoom down the 3.5 mile descent to the ocean! Then we bicycle around some of San Diego's most prestigious and quaint neighborhoods, including La Jolla, Pacific Beach, and Mission Beach. The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling! On the return, we usually take in the fun at La Jolla's own seal rookery (the Children's Pool.) We then end at La Jolla Cove for a scenic picnic lunch.

Our action packed half-day will start out with our famous "La Jolla Plunge" - a three hour bike tour that starts at the top of Mount Soledad for a breathtaking view of all of San Diego. This scenic bike ride down the coast includes such sites as La Jolla Cove, Children's Pool and Windnsea. Following a brief rest we will hop into our kayaks for a kayak tour to the breathtaking La Jolla Sea Caves.

Duration: 5 Hours

Nothing is more California than surfing, and what better place to learn than the scenic shores of Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. This quiet section of beach is ideal for surfers of all skill levels, whether you are hopping on a board for the first time or a seasoned surfer just picking up some new skills.

Included in Tour: Wetsuit, surfboard rental and instruction are included (tips are not included and are discretionary).
Duration: 1.5 Hours
Tour Times: By Appointment; 3 person minimum
Special Instructions: You MUST be at our La Jolla Shores shop 45 minutes prior to the start time of your lesson. We transport you in our passenger van up to Encinitas.
For ages 5 and up. Participants must be in good health, and must be able to swim.

Our action packed day will start out with a beautiful hike at Torrey Pines State Reserve. After a short ride back to La Jolla Shores, we will jump into our kayaks for a breathtaking paddle of the La Jolla Sea Caves. Your picnic lunch will be waiting for you upon your return. Following a brief rest, we will hop on our bikes for a scenic leisurely bike ride down the coastline. Along the way we will stop at La Jolla Cove, Children's Pool and Windnsea.
